  About this garden

 The story
-----------

Gardens are more than just ornamental. The plants within them are living systems that can heal through their medicinal properties and inspire hope for a more sustainable world. Rooted in the principles of solution-oriented gardening, this border emphasises the vital role of cultivating nature as a response to pressing issues such as climate change and economical strain.

At the foundation of the garden is a *Salix* mulch. By retaining water, protecting plants from disease and enriching the soil, its presence promotes organic gardening as a sustainable way to nurture biodiversity and conserve resources. The design also features woven willow edging to honour the many uses of *Salix* in horticulture.

With a mix of resilience, beauty and ecological harmony, the garden becomes a metaphor for care, reminding us that tending to the earth is as essential as tending to our own health.
