The border translates the mechanical rhythm and cacophony of the midway through swaying architectural planting and vertical forms mimicking spinning rides. High-octane floral colours mirror the neon glow of lights, while a heavy, sweet fragrance profile evokes the thick, sugary scents of candy floss and excitement. As horticulture students, we are embracing the freedom to explore creative ideas without restraint. This garden is anchored by the tactile influence of our grandparents, the keen gardeners who first put soil in our hands and guided us through these magical spectacles. By blending traditional species they loved with whimsical features, we celebrate their legacy as our steadying force. It is a playground of inspiration, proving that even the smallest plot can pack the massive emotional punch of a shared family memory.
