The story begins with the discovery of a mineral spring; water is not a decoration here, but the foundation of the story. Early planting is medicinal in character, creating a sense of calm, healing, and tranquility. Colour plays a vital storytelling role throughout the border. White planting reflects the Regency architecture that still shapes the town today, before gradually giving way to richer, more vibrant colours that symbolise growing diversity and global connections. Crescent and circular forms are repeated through the design, echoing the town's distinctive architectural identity. Key moments from the town's past are subtly referenced, from elephants and tennis to camouflage and parachutes, adding layers of intrigue and discovery. The journey concludes by looking toward the future. This garden celebrates a rich, shared history' many cultures, one town.
