  About this garden

 The story 
-----------

Introducing a garden for the APL that celebrates the companionship that is created between human and garden. Through good and bad, celebration and healing, a garden provides us with purpose and creates a symbiotic relationship between man and nature. The garden will have a visual and an audio element which allows visitors to connect with the memory of what it is to work a garden, the beauty of the work. These film and sound recordings of many of the simple but essential tasks that we undertake in the garden will give an additional layer of interaction between the visitor and the space.

The design allows visitors to cross the threshold into the garden, taking them away from the movement of people around the show, allowing them to slow down and take in their own experience of the garden.
