Elegant planting and classical features, including small sculptures and the feature wall medallion, have been brought straight from Abbeyleix to offer visitors a glimpse of the beauty of this 250-year-old estate. The simple colour scheme of green and white offers a tranquil backdrop to the art on display, with a planting scheme of Buxus sempervirens, Viburnum tinus ‘Lisarose’, Betula spp, Astilbe japonica ‘Deutschland’, Lychnis ‘Petite Henri’ and Digitalis purpurea ‘Alba’ providing structure, texture and interest. All elements of the garden will be brought home to Abbeyleix House and Farm following the festival for the estate’s residents and visitors to enjoy in the years to come.
