The aim with this garden is to showcase how pots, both freestanding and vertical, can be used creatively to green such a space. The plot is typical of a concrete courtyard or roof garden setting which generally has limited soil depth and harsh wall surrounds. At ground level, selected shallow rooting plants have been chosen to grow within the raised base. Large freestanding pots of various sizes are used throughout for aesthetics and to allow for the inclusion of larger trees and plants. Finally, a vertical pot system is employed to green-up the high boundary walls and unify the scheme.
